Flying is mandatory for First Years. If you're above that, congratulations! You're done with this class. But for anyone just joining, here's what goes on in this class.
Lesson One -- Introduction to Flying Basically the core of the class. You'll get to know me, and I'll get to know you. And it will be your first time on a broom. You'll learn how to pick the broom up off the ground and get on it. And you'll learn how to fly around. The lesson will take place on the Quidditch Pitch.
Lesson Two -- Introduction to Quidditch A classroom lesson explaining the history of the wizarding world's #1 sport, Quidditch. There will be homework after this class for those of you who show up. And if you don't show up, you must ask another student or the professor the work.
Lesson Three -- Quidditch Positions and Equipment A lesson from the Quidditch Pitch that will explain cover the positions of Quidditch and the tools needed to play an organized game. I'll also explain the point system.
Lesson Four -- Mock Game The final lesson will be a mock game of Quidditch. It will be played for fun. This does not count towards your final grade, but it's nice if you showed up for it! I will separate you into teams.
There will also be a final exam about the history of Quidditch and how to play the modern game. This will count your final grade.
Your grade will be based on the number of classes you attend, how much you participate, and the completion of homework and the final exam.
